That structure works for high-volume programs. It's the wrong shape for work that needs sharp judgment and a tight feedback loop.
I run an independent practice instead. The person setting the direction is the person doing the work. You get a Design Director embedded in your project from first conversation to final delivery — without the layers, and without paying for them.
